Who is Joel

Joel is a remarkable young boy with a bright future ahead of him. Despite facing many challenges in his young life, Joel has remained resilient and determined to succeed. At just 10 years old, he has already become a shining star in his community.

Joel was born in the Dominican Republic to a Haitian mother who disappeared when he was just six years old. Since then, he has been living with his father, older sister, and younger sister. His father works long hours to support the family, so Joel has had to grow up fast and take on more responsibilities than most children his age.

Despite the challenges he has faced, Joel has developed a passion for dancing and reading. He loves nothing more than losing himself in a good book or practicing his dance moves to the latest songs. Thanks to the Reyes Mora Youth Centers International, where he has been going to learn how to read, he has developed a love for learning and an insatiable thirst for knowledge.

In addition to his love of dancing and reading, Joel is also a dedicated brother and son. He helps his older sister take care of his younger sister, and he is always willing to help his father with whatever needs to be done around the house. He is kind and considerate, and although he can be a bit hard-headed at times, he always apologizes when he knows he has done something wrong.

Despite the challenges he has faced, Joel is determined to succeed and make a better life for himself and his family. He has big dreams for his future and is determined to achieve them. With his positive attitude, determination, and resilience, there is no doubt that Joel has an excellent future ahead of him.
